This study ran in Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and South Sudan, was designed to assess threats and Opportunities for peace and security in EAC region. The study involved review of reports, preparing study instruments, key stakeholder consultations (FGDS, IDIs and workshops) and review of reports by the expert group that was established. Country reports and a consolidated report were prepared for the EAC. These will provide the baseline data for the EAC Early Warning System.
