T-cons conducted a baseline study to assess socio-economic conditions and livelihood of the people of Imatong Mountain Basin and Kinyeti River Watershed. The purpose of the survey was to collect baseline socio-economic data to generate relevant information on socio-economic conditions around Imatong forest and Kinyeti watershed in South Sudan to inform and guide the process of implementing the AWF Imatong Mountain Water Tower Conservation Project. The baseline survey involved review of available reports, preparation of survey instruments, conducting quantitative and qualitative survey, key stakeholder consultations (FGDs, IDIs and workshops), data analysis and preparation of study report and a validation workshop.
